At St James we highly regard the Performing Arts. Every second year we produce and perform a whole school production. Last year we presented Seussical Jr.

In Performing Arts the children will incorporate the following activities:

• Drama
• Singing·
• Creative Dance·
• and Formal Dance·

Performance Training

A 1 hour fortnightly lesson lesson incorporates elements of all of the above. Immersion of the body and mind with a flourish of instinctive fun and creativity form the basis of the lesson. This holistic approach gives the opportunity for each child to express themselves creatively.

The Performing Arts program also includes opportunities to join a choir and perform in the community. Every 2nd year we have a school production. Last year we presented Seseussical Jr. Each child in the school had a part in the performance. This end of year production is a highlight for the school year.
